Ailish Fairley
Ailish has broad experience of tourism and is an experienced data handler and administrator with wide experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Sage Line 50 and other software.
Donal O' Herlihy
Donal O'Herlihy is a highly experienced strategist, evaluator & project manager, specialising in technology and innovation projects. Donal established O'Herlihy & Co. Ltd in 1998 working with private & public sector clients. He recently worked with Colin on the preparation of a long term business plan for the Edinburgh Convention Bureau and on the activity tourism project on the Banffshire Coast
Doug Reid
Doug Reid is a partner with James F. Stephen Architects, Glamis. Doug has extensive experience in historic building projects including restoration, refurbishment, conversion, alteration and extension of Listed Buildings, design projects within Conservation Areas, and preparation and co-ordination of Townscape Heritage Initiative and Feasibility Studies.
Douglas Ritchie
Prior to establishing Tourism and Leisure Solutions, Douglas Ritchie worked in the Scottish Area Tourist Board network for over 17 years. In that time he held senior leisure and business tourism marketing positions in Glasgow and Edinburgh and was involved in numerous high profile international tourism campaigns. Douglas and Colin worked jointly on the Deeside DMO project and on the West Lothian Tourism Strategy
Graeme Boyle
Graeme is MD of a half mv squared, a Glasgow based management consultancy firm. A qualified biochemist with industrial experience, his expertise lies in strategic marketing and corporate development, to which he brings a unique perspective, having experience of both industrial and public sector markets.
Ian Reynolds
Ian Reynolds is Principal Consultant of MacKenzie Reynolds Associates and has 18 years direct experience in Scottish Tourism. He was Tourism Manager for Scottish Enterprise in Tayside and is also a practitioner in the sector, having been a partner in a self-catering business for 15 years.
Jackie Heaton
Jackie Heaton is an experienced educationalist with a detailed knowledge of public understanding of science and science education in schools and in the higher education sector
Jenny Lambie
Jenny is the Principal Consultant of the Lambie Gilchrist Consultancy (LGC) which was established in 1990 to provide business development advice and training within the tourism industry. Jenny is a Fellow of the Hotel Catering and International Management Association and a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel Development
Lorna Chalmers
Lorna Chalmers is an IT specialist and has vast experience in office systems including word processing, accounting, spreadsheets, databases, presentations. Lorna has a wide range of clients in the offshore, oil, science, engineering construction and service sectors as well as businesses in retail and tourism. Based in Alford, Lorna is a qualified trainer on behalf of Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise North East.
Lynn Jones
Lynn Jones is Managing Director of Lynn Jones Research, a well known Edinburgh based market research company with a strong tourism and service sector background. Lynn has worked with Colin on a wide range of projects over the years, ranging from the Edinburgh Visitor Survey (EVS) to evaluation of major projects such as the 2005 World Women's Curling Championships, the 2008 HSBC Brecon Jazz Festival, Culross Town Audit and the 2007-08 Stirling Visitor Survey
Neil Innes
Neil has spent many years working in various roles in Scottish Tourism. Following spells within the Area Tourist Boards for Aberdeen & Grampian and Angus & Dundee, Neil managed tourism projects on behalf of Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh and Lothian, with particular responsibility for research, e-business and economic evaluation. Neil then managed a consultancy firm specialising in visitor signage, mapping and interpretation before working on a freelance basis providing project management and research services.
Patrick Laughlin
Patrick is a tourism and leisure consultant with his own business, Talk Associates. He has over 20 years' experience of working in the Scottish tourism industry and from 1998 to 2005 was Chief Executive of Kingdom of Fife Tourist Board. Patrick is a past Chairman of the Scottish Association of Tourism Officers and has been a director of several companies. He is a member of the Board of management of Elmwood College in Fife.
